Mindful Mondays
Perhaps one of our greatest challenges is to maintain a level of focus and balance in our emotional awareness as we experience our days in real time. Our minds are constantly working to evaluate the various thoughts, visual images and impressions that can flood our conscious reality. The flurry of our lives can lead to feeling overwhelmed, anxious or overly concerned about how to relate to everything that we see, hear and feel.
Mindful Mondays is a series of 50-minute presentations to help us better understand how to live in all of our moments with clear perceptions, a pathway to understanding, power to handle the challenges and a sense of peace that helps us manage the ways that we engage—and disengage—throughout the hours of our days.
These sessions will teach us how to relate to the emotions that we experience as we learn to use tools and methods to manage our reactions and responses in healthy ways to increase our sense of balance, to inspire appropriate interactions with others and to lead us to experience peace of mind.
The classes are presented by Carlos Craig, a pastor and licensed professional counselor and his wife Letty, a Family and Women's Ministries director.

The venue, Bread and Better Life Cafe, offers pasteries and treats, but it does not offer a full menu of options, so you are welcome to bring along your own lunch if you desire.
